Backwards Future Magazine

This task was assigned to me as a first year assessment. Our class was given total creative freedom to create a 8 page + publication. The publication was intended for print and was to be exported with printers markings, such as crop and bleed. This was an opportunity to experiment with typography, page structure, photography and illustration. 

In 2018 this assignment was first assigned to me. I was really inexperienced and had no real understanding of printing professional publications. My final publication was set-up and exported in CMYK, but my design assets were in RGB. So when I got my copy back from the printer, you can understand I was confused. 

Since then, I have made a conscious effort to improve on my understanding of publication design, exporting and printing as I hope to develop a career within this industry.
