FAQs

  • Colla Clothing responsibly sources fabrics and uses materials destined for landfill. Where possible, fabric waste is reconstructed to create new and innovative textiles that reduce the amount of waste we produce. Using a range of different techniques with a more ethical spin on traditional garment construction, Colla Clothing is making the choice to impact the fashion industry positively.

  • All clothes manufactured by Colla Clothing are made right here in Victoria, Australia. Each garment is unique and handmade with love from our sewing studio.

  • Currently we do not have a physical store - however we can organise a pick-up location for customers for an item that has been purchased. Ensure you tick delivery method as ‘Geelong, VIC - Pickup’ and Hayley from Colla Clothing will be in touch to organise.

Market appearances happen randomly, so check the website or social media for any information on upcoming events.

  • Some materials come from factories that was destined to end up straight in land fill. Other materials come from charity stores, donation shops or second hand garments. If material is purchased from a supplier, we ensure we do our research and purchase from an ethical manufacturer.

  • At Colla Clothing, polyester and synthetic fabrics are avoided at all costs. However, synthetics are occasionally donated or saved from landfill and we like to give them a chance.

  • Nature fibres provide you with a natural insulation, allowing your body to breathe through the textiles and regulate your temperature with ease. Unlike polyester and other synthetics that trap heat in and create an unnatural heat. The process for manufacturing natural materials is way less damaging to the environment than the process of synthetic materials. So basically, natural fibres are better for the environment which is always a bonus.
